Gremlins 2: The New Batch (1990) is a American comedy horror film directed by Joe Dante, serving as the sequel to the 1984 film Gremlins. The movie brings back the mischievous creatures called Mogwai and their more dangerous transformed versions, the Gremlins.
In this sequel, the action moves from the small town setting of the original to a high-tech skyscraper in New York City. Billy Peltzer and his girlfriend Kate encounter the Mogwai Gizmo again, but when the creatures multiply and transform, chaos ensues in the modern office building. The film is known for being more comedic and self-aware than its predecessor, with the Gremlins causing havoc with the building's advanced technology.
